So, how do I do that ? The zombie thing ? I will teach you right about now.

What you need is :

1. GIMP 2.0
2. Image of you

First of all you need to know layer concept. A  layer is just like a piece of transparent plastic that cover an image. So you can mess up the image without desrtroying the original image. I will use my own image for this tutorial.

Open your GIMP and open up your image like so :

File > open > your image file

Under layer,channnel,path, undo window, you must select your image :

Next, add a new layer. Under above window, just right click and add new layer. Now, you have an image with a transparent layer !
